1. Measures Implemented
    •    Semantic HTML5 structure.
    •    ARIA landmarks and labels.
    •    Minimum 4.5:1 color contrast.
    •    Keyboard navigability (tabindex, focus indicators).
    •    Alt text for all non-decorative images.
    •    Captions for product videos.
    •    Responsive design (mobile-first).

2. Third-Party Limitations
    •    Payment widgets (Stripe): Working with provider for ARIA enhancements.
    •    Social media embeds: Limited control.

3. Ongoing Efforts
    •    Bi-monthly audits via axe DevTools and WAVE.

PEKI Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “PEKI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a corporation organized under the laws of the Republic of Korea with its principal place of business in Seoul, operates the global e-commerce platform accessible at www.peki.shop and associated mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Web Accessibility Statement (the “Statement”) outlines our ongoing commitment to ensuring that the Platform is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, including individuals with disabilities, in accordance with internationally recognized standards and applicable laws, including but not limited to:
    •    Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI);
    •    Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended;
    •    EN 301 549 (European accessibility standard for ICT products and services);
    •    Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) – Web Content Accessibility Guidelines;
    •    Korean Disability Discrimination Act and Korea Web Accessibility Guidelines (KWCAG) 2.2;
    •    EU Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102) and European Accessibility Act (2019/882); and
    •    Other jurisdictional accessibility frameworks.
PEKI recognizes digital accessibility as a core component of corporate social responsibility, aligning with our Buy One, Give One Global Empathy Program, which supports mothers and children in underserved communities—many of whom may also live with disabilities.

1. Scope of Commitment
This Statement applies to:
    •    The public-facing website (www.peki.shop);
    •    Customer account portal;
    •    Mobile-responsive views;
    •    Email communications (where technically controllable); and
    •    Future digital properties under the PEKI brand.
It does not apply to third-party platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube) where we have limited control, though we strive to provide accessible alternatives.

2. Accessibility Conformance Goals
PEKI aims for full conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA across all user journeys, including:

1.4.12 Text Spacing    No loss of content when line height ≥1.5, spacing ≥2em, etc.
2.1.1 Keyboard    Full keyboard operability (Tab, Enter, Space, Arrow keys). No keyboard traps.
2.4.1 Bypass Blocks    “Skip to main content” link on all pages.
2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context)    Descriptive link text (e.g., “View Peki Lotion Ingredients”).
2.4.7 Focus Visible    High-visibility focus indicators (≥2:1 contrast).
3.1.2 Language of Parts    lang="ko" for Korean, lang="en" for English sections.
3.3.2 Labels or Instructions    Form fields include visible labels and ARIA aria-labelledby.
4.1.2 Name, Role, Value    All interactive elements expose name, role, and state to assistive technologies.

    •    Provide accessible alternatives (transcripts, text summaries);
    •    Include accessibility disclaimers where full control is not possible.
